Why did you choose a Cescaphe wedding?
We have attended two Cescaphe weddings outside of our own and we loved everything about them, including the food, amazing level of service, and the beautiful venues. We also wanted to have our wedding at Water Works because of the location by the water. It is such a beautiful area!
Can you talk about the process of moving your wedding date and venue?
We had to reschedule our wedding approximately two weeks before our original wedding date of 3/27/20 at the Engine House at Water Works. Since it was rather early in the COVID-19 shutdown, we were able to secure a new date of 09/17/20 at the same location and were able to reschedule all our vendors within a few days. The most stressful part of the rescheduling process was waiting on the go-ahead from the city of Philadelphia in the weeks leading up to our new wedding date. It was a constant change in where our wedding was going to be located and what that day was going to look like.
It was very hectic, but Cescaphe pulled it off and made it happen, while providing us excellent communication as things developed. The team always had alternatives for us so that we could have our special day and would not have to reschedule again. Everything turned out great and exceeded our expectations. We would even go as far to say that our wedding turned out better than what we had originally planned back in March! Cescaphe made sure we had everything we wanted and our requests were met.
What was your favorite part of your wedding?
Our favorite parts of the wedding were the food, scenery and excellent service. The tent was setup and decorated beautifully and the cocktail hour by the water was impressive.
What advice would you give to other Brides and Grooms whose weddings have been affected by COVID?
To go with the flow, stay positive and trust that Cescaphe will pull off an amazing event for you even it is a different or modified version of your original plan!
