REAL WEDDING: Sydney and Nathan’s Micro Wedding at Breve

Why did you choose a Cescaphe Wedding?

Cescaphe’s Breve enabled us to have a “normal” wedding during COVID times. While it was unfortunate that we couldn’t celebrate in-person with all of our family and friends, Cescaphe provided a beautiful venue and delicious catering, all while making it easy to plan our wedding in six weeks. We hosted our immediate family and a few close friends. In the end, everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Can you talk about the process of moving your wedding date and venue?

We were fortunate that we didn’t get too far into planning another wedding before deciding to have a microwedding, so the process was very easy for us. We simply contacted Cescaphe about Breve, toured the Courtyard at Vie and immediately decided to move forward. The team at Cescaphe made the planning process incredibly easy, especially considering that we had less than six weeks to organize everything.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

I have 3 – it’s too hard to pick just one. The first is when Nathan broke the glass, as the groom typically does in a Jewish ceremony, signifying that we were officially married. We surprised our guests with a bagpiper (why not?), so another highlight was seeing the looks on our guests’ faces when he arrived. Last, but definitely not least, Nathan arranged for Kelly Clarkson (in the form of a cardboard cutout) to attend. Kelly Clarkson is my absolute favorite, so this was a great personal touch. Towards the end of the evening, we played some of her songs and danced with her.
