Cescaphe Founder & CEO Joe Volpe has spent more than 30 years pursuing the singular goal of fulfilling wedding dreams for brides and grooms across Philadelphia. In 2002, Joe saw the potential in a forgotten movie theater in the city’s emerging Northern Liberties district and quickly began work transforming it into what would become the glittering Cescaphe Ballroom and the beginning of the Cescaphe wedding brand. Since founding Cescaphe with wife Andrea in 2003, he has grown the company into one of the most successful wedding brands in the Greater Philadelphia region. Today, Joe resides in New Jersey with his wife Andrea and their daughters, Francesca and Sophia, whose names they combined to create the company name.
Our Story
Founded by Joe & Andrea Volpe in 2003, Cescaphe has grown from a small company producing dream weddings at a single venue—Cescaphe Ballroom—to a team of trend-setting experts coordinating extraordinary events at six distinctively unique, gorgeously appointed sites throughout Philadelphia. Today, Cescaphe orchestrates over 1,000 weddings annually at Cescaphe Ballroom, Franklin's View, Vie, Down Town Club, Water Works, and The Lucy.
