The switch house
What was once the PECO power Plant, supplying electricity for the city of Philadelphia beginning in the 1920s, has been transformed by Cescaphe into one of the city’s most unique and breathtaking venues. The historic industrial walls, black iron accents, 3-tier chandeliers, Venetian finish fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling vintage mirrored bar create a sense of urban luxury in the grand style of the building’s original design.
This one-of-a-kind setting makes every moment of your wedding – from the champagne greeting served from a custom built Champagne Wall complete with brass flute fillers, to the final dance under the original skylight – an experience that will never be forgotten.

The Switch House offers a romantic, intimate space for your wedding ceremony. Say your vows in front of a custom-built Venetian finished fireplace while your guests are wowed by the 20 foot iron windows that fill the space with beautiful natural lighting.
cocktails
The Switch House weddings feature the Cescaphe signature cocktail hour-and-a-half. You and your guests will enjoy the finest cuisine and top shelf open bar from impeccably designed space built specifically to host your cocktail hour. The Main Cocktail Room features an extra large bar, 20ft iron windows with a Northern view and 3-tier chandeliers. The room also features two chef-attended action stations, a customizable ice sculpture, famous raw bar, and full-service bar.

A The Switch House reception is hosted in the Ballroom, which features original sandblasted concrete walls, 3-tier chandeliers and 20ft iron windows overlooking Penn Treaty Park. The urban-luxe design also includes a Venetian finish fireplace and expansive bar with floor to ceiling antiqued mirror. You and your guests will dance the night away under the stars shining through the original skylights.
